Clinical Significance

WT1 is a tumor suppressor gene located on chromosome 11p13. It can identify mesothelial hyperplasia, malignant mesothelioma, ovarian cystadenocarcinoma, gonadoblastoma, Wilms tumor, and desmoplastic small round cell tumor. It can be used in the research of desmoplastic small round cell tumor, Ewing sarcoma, and primitive neuroectodermal tumor.
